Kalypso Bar & Grill

Come visit Kalypso’s! Enjoy the local favorites, just off of Ching Young Village. Don’t forget the drinks! Happy hour is daily from 3pm to 5:30pm.


Hanalei Bread Co

Locally owned and operated, Hanalei Bread Company is an organic bakery and coffee house in the heart of Hanalei. Serving daily-made fresh bread, pastries, breakfast, lunch & your favorite cup of coffee!

Open 7 days a week from 7am to 12:30pm. Kitchen closes at noon – coffee, pastries, and other items are still available until closing, as well as smoothies and bowls from the smoothie bar.


Pink's Creamery

Hanalei Pier

The pier’s scenic location on Hanalei Bay is a favorite family gathering place for fishing, picnicking, swimming, and playing. Taking a jump off the pier into the cool water is perfect on a hot day!

Black Pot Beach

Located where the Hanalei River opens into the Bay, Black Pot Beach takes its name from when ships came into the bay. The locals would have a big iron pot over a fire with soup to greet the travelers. It’s the perfect place for picnic lunches, sandcastle contests, and cool dips in the water!

Hanalei River

The Hanalei River flows north from the eastern slopes of Mount Waiʻaleʻale until it reaches Hanalei Bay for a total 26.5 km. The end that opens into the bay is shallow, smooth and easy, perfect for paddle boarding or kayaking alone or with a group!
