Black Pot Beach

Located where the Hanalei River opens into the Bay, Black Pot Beach takes its name from when ships came into the bay. The locals would have a big iron pot over a fire with soup to greet the travelers. It’s the perfect place for picnic lunches, sandcastle contests, and cool dips in the water!
